하나의 암으로 생각하고 ESD를 하였는데 병리에서 두 개의 위암이었다고 보고되는 경우가 있습니다. 물론 둘 다 작은 위암입니다.

ESD: Early gastric carcinomas(x2)
1. Location : antrum, lesser curvature
2. Gross type : EGC type IIc
3. Histologic type : tubular adenocarcinoma, moderately differentiated
4. Histologic type by Lauren : intestinal
5. Size of carcinoma : 8x4 mm (mass 1), 4x2 mm (mass 2)
6. Depth of invasion : invades mucosa (muscularis mucosa) (pT1a)
7. Resection margin : free from carcinoma(N), safety margin : distal 9 mm, proximal 13 mm, anterior 2 mm, posterior 6 mm, deep 300 ㎛
8. Lymphatic invasion : not identified(N)
9. Venous invasion : not identified(N)
10. Perineural invasion : not identified(N)
11. Microscopic ulcer : absent
12. Histologic heterogeneity: absent
