[Gastric cancer 661 - Natural history of Borrmann type II]

Natural history of advanced gastric cancer is not known. Is the early morphology of AGC B-II simple dome-like mass or small depressed lesion? There is no exact answer, but you can get some idea from this case.

Small slightly depressed type EGC was found, but treatment was delayed due to hepatocellular carcinoma. Regular follow up endoscopy examinations were done. Four and half years after the initial diagnosis of gastric cancer, surgery can be done.
